PAYMENT OPTIONS

Cryo-Save understands that not all parents have the financial means to immediately meet the costs involved. To make this once in a lifetime opportunity more affordable we have 6 flexible payment options allowing you to save these precious stem cells as an insurance policy for your child.

1)         Early Bird Full Payment Option 
Receive a R2 000 discount off the Processing & Storage Fee of any of the above full priced options when you register and complete full payment 3- Months prior to your expected due date.

2)        Direct Transfer 
Full payment or the Collection Fee (Deposit) will be due at the time of registration. An  invoice will be generated and emailed to you once the Processing & Storage has been completed.

3)        3 – Month Payment Option   
The ‘Full Price’ of your selected service will be divided into 3 equal payments, Payments will be made according to the schedule outlined in our contract.

4)        Credit Card  
Full payment made by credit card

5)        12-Month-Financed-Option 
12 -Month Payment plan requires the ‘Collection Fee/Deposit’ to be paid upfront, monthly payments are calculated on the outstanding balance (Processing & Storage Fee).

6)        24-Month- Financed-Option
24 -Month Payment plan requires the ‘Collection Fee/Deposit’ to be paid upfront, monthly payments are calculated on the outstanding balance (Processing & Storage Fee).

Cryo-Save is South Africa’s only Stem Cell Bank to offer 12 & 24 month payment plans through a licensed Financial Services and Credit Provider

PAYMENTS COVER

-           Collection kit
-           Shipment (delivery of kit in SA or onward express airfreight to the laboratory in Belgium)
-           Sample viability testing and quantification (on flow cytometry)
-           Testing of the cord blood for infectious diseases (by PCR testing)
-           Preparation of the specimen for storage
-           Administration fees
-           24 Hour service
-           FREE Retrieval and dedicated transport of sample if required by the baby or immediate family (terms & conditions apply)

**Note: A R1000 courier surcharge will apply to all births outside South Africa

A full refund of the Processing & Storage fee will be given if for any reason the stem cells are not successfully stored.

A refund of the Processing and Storage Fee is given, should the cells be retrieved and used for your baby within the first 3 years of his/her life.

ANNUAL STORAGE FEE

We are the ONLY bank in South Africa to offer the security of annual fees. We charge a modest annual storage fee of R200 locally and R500 internationally (incl VAT) per year.

This payment is made only ONCE a year (6% escalation annually broadly consistent with CPI).

Your baby’s stem cells may be stored with Cryo-Save for the rest of their life and this annual fee ensures that our facilities can be maintained and upgraded over this period.  All the large stem cell banks around the world incorporate annual fees to ensure the long term sustainability of the facility. This is an important consideration when choosing the right stem cell bank for your child.

MULTIPLE BIRTHS

For parents having twins, triplets, quadruplets a 50% discount applies to the Processing & Storage fee of the second, third & fourth baby

LOYALTY DISCOUNT

Returning clients in good standing will be given a loyalty discount of R1,250* including VAT off their storage fee.

REFERRAL PROGRAMME

Current Cryo-Save family members (our clients) will receive a R1 000 Woolworths Voucher for referring new families to us. The referred family will also receive R1 000 off their Processing & Storage fee.

You will receive your R1 000 Woolworths voucher after the successful storage of the referred family – there is no limit to the amount of families you refer to our programme.

COST-FREE FAMILY DONATION PROGRAMME

As a service to the public, Cryo-Save offers its Cost-free Family Donation Programme, free of charge*, to families wishing to store their newborn’s umbilical cord blood stem cells for a family  member diagnosed with a life-threatening disease treatable by stem cells
